    Camden Here I Come!!!!

That’s right, in just a few short hours I will be hopping on a bus to head down to DC. Tonight, Jarid, The Welshman and I will be staying with our friend Mat in DC before heading to the Sox game at Camden Yards tomorrow (It’s a really good thing that the Twin isn’t the jealous type seeing as how I am about to spend a weekend away with three guys). I can’t even begin to explain how excited I am. The first weekend of the season and I’m already going to games. God I’m a lucky girl!

With the rotation the way it is, we’ll see Schilling on Saturday and Wakefield on Sunday, weather permitting. It’s looking like rain on Saturday, but I’ve got my fingers crossed. If it turns out to be a double header on Sunday I won’t be getting back into NYC until about two in the morning – if that.

Some notes on the games thus far:
    * Schilling and Beckett looked great, a very encouraging start for them both.
    * The Wakefield shelling doesn’t bother me – yet. And I don’t blame Bard for the pass balls either. I think once the two of them get comfortable with each other they’ll be fine. In a way it’s almost encouraging that Bard was having a hard time blocking the ball, if he was catching them easily it would have meant that the knuckleball wasn’t moving. At the same time, that meatball Wake served up that got crushed into the stands more than likely happened because Wakes was unsure Bard could handle him. I have all the faith in the world that these guys will get it together.
    * Coco Crisp is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Watching him steal second was just flat out fun, not to mention some of the catches he’s made out in center. And that grin of his – he just looks like he’s having fun out there. He’s going to be a LOT of fun to watch this season.

Ok, that’s where I am going to end it, though there is clearly WAY more to cover. But with a short day here at the office, and a full day’s work to do, I better get down to it. Stories and pictures from the weekend to come on Monday. Have a great weekend everyone – and GO SOX!

I thought you decided to come visit me, being that I live in Camden! I doubt the Sox will be playing in London anytime soon though so nevermind. Have a great trip!

Was watching today's Red Sox-Mariners Game via FSN-Northwest on my Mac, & saw someone on the coverage, sitting in Fenway, who looks like you, FiNY.

The other night flipping through the channels I saw Boston Sports Tonight on FSN New York I thought it was a mistake they were showing highlights from the Red Sox game. It was around 10 when I saw it.
