A Great Night For A Great Cause |
For those of you in NYC (or who feel like traveling to NYC) I cordially invite you to the 5th Annual Alzheimer's Association NYC Junior Committee Gala.
This event, which the Junior Committee spends countless days, weeks, and months planning, is our biggest of the year. Last year 300 people attended the event, which raises funds for the chapters programs and services.
Between my Uncle Al falling further and further into the later stages of the disease, my recent volunteering at the assisted living facility, and my trip to the Alzheimer's Association National Public Policy Forum, I am more convinced than ever of the importance of the work the association does. So if you happen to be in NYC, and want to be shocked by the sight of me in something other than a baseball hat and jeans, you can buy tickets at www.alznycjc.org.
